- Assistance
with socio-economic and gender based investigations associated with
a mine proposal in Sepon District, Savannakhet Province, Lane Xang
Minerals. Project duties included: conduct of socio-economic household
surveys, participation in gender focus groups and report preparation.
- Assistance
in the coordination of environmental investigations associated with
the above project. Duties included: liaison with environmental experts,
attendance at project meetings, and provision of administrative and
technical assistance when required.
- Electrical
Engineer, Electrical Distribution and Standards Project, Electricite
du Laos. Duties included: research for, and preparation of, an Electrical
Standards Manual.
- Electrical
Engineer, Renewable Energy Project, Electricite du Laos, Vientiane
Province. Duties included viability analysis for individual villages
and project implementation and monitoring, where appropriate. Viability
analysis involved data collection via socio-economic based household
surveys and analysis of that data.
