Azain Raban B. Sc.
Climate Change Consultant
Summary
Azain Raban has joined Earth Systems as a Climate Change Consultant, with significant international experience in climate change policy, carbon accounting and Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). Azain has a background in natural sciences, climatology and environmental policy. He is currently working towards a Master of Environment.
Azain has worked with international agencies and a range of communities in Asia. He has also assisted governments, NGO’s and private sector agencies to implement Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs), including the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Azain is currently working with Earth Systems to identify CDM opportunities in both the public and private sectors in Southeast Asia. Once developed, these projects will promote investment in efficient clean energy technologies and contribute towards sustainable development in Southeast Asia.
